Coach Chettra Chhouk, originally from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, brings over 8 years of soccer coaching experience and 2 years playing and coaching volleyball to No Panic Volleyball Club. A former setter, he found his love for volleyball two years ago and has since committed to inspiring athletes through both sports.

  • As a first-year club volleyball coach: six Gold Bracket finishes, 2nd place Gold at the Libero Tournament, and a Bronze Bracket Championship at the Non-Bid Regional Tournament

Why He Loves Volleyball and Coaching Philosophy

Chettra thrives on the competitiveness and team aspect of volleyball, and what's kept him in it is the constant opportunity to grow and help athletes reach their goals. His philosophy: “Work hard, stay coachable, and always find a way to get better.” He centers his coaching on development, accountability, and creating a positive environment where players feel comfortable learning and competing.


Vision for the Season

Chettra's goal is to help each player grow both technically and mentally — building a team that's confident, competitive, and willing to work hard for one another, with strong fundamentals, volleyball IQ, and position-specific skills.


Personal Interests and Fun Fact

Off the court, Chettra is passionate about sports photography, PC gaming, and anything involving cars — including track racing his Miata.

Fun Fact: Chettra was born and raised in Cambodia, and he's a huge cat person.
