Why He Loves Volleyball & Coaching Philosophy

David got into volleyball after watching his sister play for her Varsity team, and he's stayed in the sport ever since for its community and opportunities. His coaching approach centers on showing players not just what to do, but who they need to be.

“The game teaches the game. The player that knows why beats the player that knows how.”

Specialization

David's most specialized coaching skill is asking questions rather than handing out answers - guiding players to find solutions on their own. His top technical focus is hitting, with setting as a close second. He tailors his approach to every level, from U6 up through professional play.
