Coach Kenny Pessoa, originally from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, brings years of playing and coaching experience to No Panic Volleyball Club. He began playing volleyball in school and continued competing at the club level in Bolivia until age 21. Since moving to the United States, he has remained active in competitive adult leagues and tournaments as an opposite and outside hitter.

  • Experienced in working with players of different ages and skill levels

Coaching Philosophy

Coach Kenny strives to create an environment where athletes can enjoy volleyball, compete, and improve without being afraid to make mistakes. He believes mistakes are an important part of learning and wants every player to leave practice feeling more confident and capable than when they arrived.

His advice to players is simple: Play confidently, learn from every point, and always focus on the next ball.

Coach Kenny’s goal is to help every athlete improve throughout the season while building a competitive, confident, and consistent team. He wants players to support one another and create a positive environment where everyone can grow.


Off the Court

Kenny enjoys hiking, playing video games, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. He also likes discovering new places for coffee and food.


Fun Fact: Kenny grew up surrounded by soccer because of his family, but he chose volleyball instead - a decision that still confuses them today.
