Why She Coaches & Coaching Philosophy
Inspired by her father, a former coach, Adelaide believes in shaping well-rounded athletes with realistic goals and a strong mindset. Her philosophy balances fun and focus, ensuring players learn when to celebrate and when to lock in.
“Pressure is a privilege.”
Her most-repeated advice: move your feet. Play every ball like it's coming straight to you - standing still for even a second is what costs you the point.
Personal Interests and fun fact
Off the court, Adelaide enjoys field biology, playing soccer, trying new Asian food spots, hiking, and spending time with her cat, Wubbie.
Fun Fact
Adelaide played competitive soccer for 10+ years and turned down a D2 offer to focus on academics — she even coached at her old high school while still playing.
Goals for the Season
- Gold bracket finishes and 3 medals this season
- Build player confidence that shines through any adversity
