Coach Glenn, originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been a dedicated volleyball coach in Northern Virginia since 2009. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1984. With a deep love for the sport, he’s made an impact both as a coach and as a referee for CHRVA and the Virginia High School League (VHSL). Coach Glenn brings decades of experience to the court, from his early days playing in college to winning two base championships during his time in the Air Force overseas.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
- Began coaching in 2009 when his daughter started playing club volleyball.
- Coached several teams at the USAV and AAU National Tournaments from 2010 to 2019.
- Highlight of his career: Assisting the 18s team that placed 5th in the 2010 USAV National Tournament (American Division) in Reno, NV.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE
- Played club volleyball in college as a Defensive Specialist.
- Continued to play in the Air Force, winning two base championships while stationed abroad.
Additional Involvement in Volleyball
- Referee for CHRVA and VHSL, staying actively involved in the sport during a two-year coaching break.
