Alan Aranas, Director of Player Development
Growing up in Virginia Beach, Coach Alan was introduced to volleyball by his older brother and his friends. Coach Alan fell in love with this fast-paced sport, not knowing it would turn out to be a life changing experience. From joining the Salem High School Men's volleyball team and competing in outdoor tournaments during his high school years, to competing in college club and USAV Men's Indoor; Alan built a vast store of knowledge about how to play the game that is the foundation for today's No Panic Volleyball Club.
After coaching indoor teams at several different Northern Virginia clubs starting in 2009, Alan finally launched No Panic Volleyball Club in 2013 in response to what he saw as a demand for competitive, positive coaching in the region. For the 2022-2023 season, Coach Alan will be training returning No Panic and new players to create the 18s team.
Alan continues to connect and consult with volleyball clubs/organizations in the area to help grow the game in the northern Virginia area.

- Directed No Panic Volleyball Club into a competitive 5th year with many top finishes in the Chesapeake region in the age groups of 13s – 18s
