Coach Ethan Doan, from Herndon, Virginia, brings a wealth of experience and passion to his coaching role. With 5 years of playing experience, he transitioned to coaching and has since taken on multiple head and assistant coaching positions with No Panic Volleyball. His coaching journey includes leading coed, boys’, and girls’ teams across various age groups, as well as serving as an assistant coach for Herndon High School. Ethan has also been the head coach for No Panic’s boys’ summer training program.

Coach Ethan focuses on developing players to be intentional and smart with their play. He emphasizes all-around skill development, ensuring players have the foundation and strategic awareness to excel on the court.
Why He Loves Volleyball
Ethan discovered volleyball in high school while spending time with friends and quickly grew passionate about it. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to training hard and mastering the sport to compete at a high level. Coaching allows him to share this passion with his players.
Career Highlight
One of Coach Ethan’s proudest moments was leading a team he had coached over two years to a second-place finish at the CHRVA Regionals, a testament to his dedication and commitment to player development.

Coach Ethan believes in pushing players to reach their individual best, with a focus on skills and mindset that will enable them to succeed in volleyball long term.
