15 Boys Assistant Coach: Carlo-Niel Castillo

A native of the Northern Virginia area, Carlo did not play any sports as a child, choosing to become more focused on music - learning to both play clarinet and the drums. It was the Summer of 2020 when Carlo found the fast paced and explosive game of volleyball and decided to give it a try and from there he was instantly hooked.

Carlo came to No Panic to further better his skills and from there, learned to love all aspects: from training, to playing competitively, to now even coaching. Carlo never finds a day at the gym boring or unproductive.

With a leadership background in Marching Band, Carlo strives to teach bonding and meaningful connections all while making sure the players are most importantly having fun. Carlo is looking to tackle coaching as a new way to both help himself and others master volleyball and is always open to new ideas, thoughts, and perspectives.
